Cirrus Kicks Off EAA Oshkosh with Dierks Bentley

Country music star Dierks Bentley performed live at the Cirrus Aircraft pre-Oshkosh party last night, July 22, 2012.

A pilot and Cirrus owner, Dierks is no stranger to general aviation. Sharing his love of aviation with the crowd, he even wrote a new, third verse to his hit, “Am I the Only One” to commemorate the occasion. Dubbed the “Oshkosh Verse” Dierks sang:

Between the smoke and the neon/She was turning me on/and I was about to make my move. When she started talking dresses/kids and picket fences/diamonds and honeymoons. I said: No thanks/I really gotta go babe/I’m paid up and headed out. I fired up the prop/flew up to Oshkosh/rocking with the country crowd.
