Cirrus Aircraft Shipping & Receiving Requirements

1. Cirrus Aircraft Purchase Order Number must be listed on all shipping documents including the Packing List, Bills of Lading, Air Way Bills, and Delivery Receipts.
2. One copy of the Packing List must be on the outside of the container.
3. Cirrus Aircraft Part Number and correct PO line item number must be listed on the Packing List.
4. In the absence of instructions to the contrary, all items being shipped on the same day to the same Cirrus Aircraft delivery address must be consolidated onto one Bill of Lading or Air Way Bill.
5. Place only “1” Cirrus Aircraft Part Number or PO Line Item in each container.
6. Consolidate each Cirrus Aircraft Part Number or PO Line Item into a single container wherever possible.
7. Do not use Packing Peanuts. Other packing resources that can be used are sheet foam, expandable foam, bubble wrap, etc.
8. Use Screws in Wood Container Lids. Please do not use Nails or Staples as it takes considerably more time to open in Receiving and causes injuries to Receiving Personnel.
9. If parts are wrapped, the Cirrus Aircraft Part Number and Serial Number must be legibly indicated on the outside of the wrapping.
10. All shipments are to be billed Freight Collect to Cirrus Aircraft and shipped per PO requirements.

Cirrus Aircraft Shipping Method

1. SHIPMENTS UNDER 150 LBS OR LESS THAN PALLET SIZE: USE
   FEDEX AND BILL TRANSPORTATION “FREIGHT COLLECT”
2. SHIPMENTS OVER 150 LBS OR SIZEABLE FOR LTL CARRIER:
   USE TDS (TRANSPORTATION DISTRIBUTION SERVICES).
   TO SET UP AND BOOK SHIPMENTS WITH TDS, USE ONE OF THE
   FOLLOWING:  ACCESS THE TDS WEBSITE AT: WWW.TDSD.COM TO OBTAIN ROUTING
   INSTRUCTIONS. *LOGIN CREDENTIALS REQUIRED.
   – CALL TDS AT 888-730-9718; INFORM THEM YOU ARE A CIRRUS
   SUPPLIER AND NEED ROUTING INSTRUCTIONS.

Cirrus Aircraft Shipping Special Instructions

• THIRD PARTY DROP SHIPMENTS THAT UTILIZE ANY CARRIER
  THAT IS BILLED TO CIRRUS REQUIRES NOTIFICATION TO BUYER
• DO NOT DECLARE A VALUE FOR ANY SHIPMENTS UNLESS
  AUTHORIZED BY CIRRUS
• DO NOT INSURE SHIPMENTS UNLESS AUTHORIZED BY CIRRUS

Import Export Compliance

All purchased parts/components being installed in or on Cirrus aircraft must be reported to the Cirrus Export/Import Compliance Office annually.
