From performing on stages across the country to building a thriving online community, Sarah has spent her life telling stories. Aviation became the next chapter.
We don’t have a long list of aviators in the family, but my grandfather was a pilot.
He was a mechanical engineer and worked at Pratt & Whitney for over 20 years. He owned a share of a Piper and took my mom and her siblings flying all the time. Before he passed away, I was so thrilled I got to show him my Cirrus. He was so impressed with the avionics, he couldn’t have imagined anything as innovative as the G1000 when he was flying in the mid 60’s.

What began as a new challenge quickly became a passion. She earned her pilot certificate, went on to earn her instrument and commercial ratings, and discovered a love for flying that would eventually take her across the country countless times in her Cirrus SR22T.
Over the years, aviation evolved from something Sarah did into a defining part of who she is. Through hundreds of hours in the cockpit, solo cross-country adventures, and the pursuit of continual learning, she found a community, a purpose, and a confidence that extended far beyond flying.
