Cirrus Airframe Parachute System
A desire to redefine safety in aviation, the revolutionary whole-plane parachute system as standard equipment on all Cirrus aircraft – the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System® (CAPS®). It was the industry’s first general aviation parachute system produced in an FAA certified aircraft. And to date, Cirrus continues to be the only company to include a whole airframe parachute as standard equipment on all certified aircraft models.
Electronic Stability and Protection
The digital, three-axis autopilot enables Electronic Stability and Protection (ESP), which passively and unobtrusively helps correct unusual flight attitudes, even when the autopilot is not engaged.
Flap Airspeed Protection
Prevents extending flaps when airspeed is too high or retracting them when its too low for extra assurance during critical phases of flight.
