The SR Series Arrivée Special Edition made its highly anticipated return in 2025, reimagining the SR Series with new exterior colors and premium leather interiors. Thoughtfully designed to turn heads on the ramp and elevate every arrival.
Cirrus Approach™ Flight Training App
The Cirrus Approach™ Flight Training App relaunched early in the year with a modern, iPad-optimized experience for pilots and instructors. Featuring an immersive augmented reality preflight feature and access to 50+ SR Series and Vision Jet courses, making safety-focused flight training more engaging, interactive and accessible.
March
March marked the all new Cirrus IQ™ PRO app, giving owners a smarter, more intuitive connection to their aircraft. With real-time updates, digital maintenance tracking, and detailed flight data, it redefined connected aircraft ownership and simplified aircraft management.
May
SR Series G7+ with Safe Return™ Emergency Autoland
The year’s Cirrus debut of the SR Series G7+. As the world’s first FAA-approved autonomous emergency landing system in a single-engine piston aircraft, the SR Series G7+ set a new benchmark for Personal Aviation safety, automatically navigating and landing at a suitable airport in the event of an emergency such as pilot incapacitation. The SR Series G7+ came with additional enhancements, such as Automatic Database Updates, Runway Occupancy Awareness and Smart Pitot Heat.
Later in the year, Cirrus delivered an SR Series G7+ fleet equipped with Safe Return™ Emergency Autoland to Texas Southern University, making it the world’s first flight school to offer this technology to student pilots.

Grand Forks Manufacturing Facility Expansion
The Cirrus manufacturing facility in Grand Forks, North Dakota, broke ground on its expansion, adding 30,000 square feet to support production and reinforcing our investment and commitment to quality, innovation and regional growth.

CAPS® Parachute-Lined Bag Collection
At EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2025, Cirrus unveiled a collection of Cirrus Airframe Parachute (CAPS®) parachute-lined bags, created in collaboration with Duluth Pack. Crafted using upcycled parachute material from mandatory 10-year Cirrus Airframe Parachute System® repacks, each bag in the collection supports our sustainability mission.

The SR Series G7+ earned certifications from Transport Canada Civil Aviation, ANAC Brazil, EASA and the UK CAA. These approvals expanded access to Safe Return™ Emergency Autoland across key global markets and reinforced Cirrus’s commitment to advancing safety worldwide.
September
The Cirrus Approach™ Flight Training curriculum added a new Instrument Rating Program designed to guide pilots through every step of earning their Instrument Rating. The program combines structured coursework, instructor support and flight training to build confidence and capability in instrument conditions.
December
Cirrus Next™, a manufacturer-backed trade-in and upgrade program, was launched to simplify the journey into a new Cirrus aircraft. By offering a seamless path for SR Series and Vision Jet owners to upgrade, Cirrus Next™ elevates the ownership experience from valuation through new aircraft delivery.
The year was capped off with the delivery of the 11,000th SR Series aircraft. Crafted by the Cirrus Xi™ Design Studio, the 11,000th SR Series milestone is featured in Monteverde, with sophisticated lines inspired by the number eleven and thoughtful details throughout.
